Why I Am Keeping My Amazon Kindle

Many of you may have read my previous article (link to article) Why I Am Returning my Kindle. In that article, I expressed my dismay at the seemingly limited access offered by Sprint’s Whispernet service, the data service that allows for instant downloads of books, magazines, blogs, and newspapers to the Amazon Kindle. Needless to say, after pouring my considerable literary talents into that (quite lengthy) ode to my frustration, the Whispernet service magically began to work!

I am keeping my Kindle!

The Kindle is, indeed, a jazzy little device. It is true that I am a person uniquely capable of finding herself under the thrall of new technology, and that might, at this time be the Kindle’s chief attraction. Who needs to be able to download the latest bestseller in less than a minute? Well, me, if it is possible!

Lil’ Wayne - The Leak (EP)

With his next album, “Tha Carter III,” not due until February via Cash Money/Universal, rapper Lil Wayne snuck out a five-song digital EP on Christmas day, dubbed “The Leak.” The EP is only available for download.

Mr. Smith (Clive Owen) steps right into a dangerous situation to keep a baby out of the clutches of the ruthless Mr. Hertz (Paul Giamatti). Enlisting the help of an old friend (Monica Belluci), Mr. Smith unloads a lot of bullets at Mr. Hertz’s henchmen in his noble quest.

DVD: Resident Evil: Extinction (Milla Jovovich)

Milla Jovovich is back in the third chapter of the hugely successful Resident Evil franchise. This action-packed horror film is set in the Nevada desert and filled with intense special effects and more zombie terror. Las Vegas means fun in the sun. Well, at least the sun is still there.

BLOCKBUSTER Total Access - Complete Review

I’m a subscriber and very happy customer of BLOCKBUSTER Total Access. Since watching movies is a big part of The Digital Lounge Experience, I wanted to share with you my review of this service.

BLOCKBUSTER Total Access is actually two movie rental services in one. The first part is the online subscription service (also known as BLOCKBUSTER By Mail). This service provides you with movie rentals, which you choose online from their catalog of over 75,000 titles. And unlike traditional in-store rental programs, with the subscription service you pay a flat monthly fee instead of paying for each title you rent. Based on your membership level, you are able to have a certain number of movies rented “out” at one time.
