Moment of Forever matches Willie with Kenny Chesney. The very idea of these seemingly disparate characters coming together is intriguing enough on paper. What really counts, however, is how it works on disc — and work it does, with Chesney’s production bringing out Nelson’s natural warmth and grace.

Shelby Lynne - Just A Little Lovin’

NEW IN MUSIC: Shelby Lynne’s new CD Just A Little Lovin’ is a tribute to the great singer Dusty Springfield. Says Lynne, “Dusty Springfield was a soulful singer. You can’t ever fill her shoes. So I just set out to sing songs we all want to hear again. The road map I followed when cutting these, was the one she made years ago. It was easy. I just sang and let the songs do the work. I’m so glad I did. Dusty inspired it all.” The album features nine classic songs associated with Dusty and one stunning original written by Shelby, inspired by Dusty.

Chuck Wicks - Starting Now

Love Songs is a collection of 14 classic country romance tunes from the platinum-selling Songstress Trisha Yearwood. It is comprised of selections from each Of her 9 MCA albums. Included are songs written by Diane Warren, Rodney Crowell & Beth Nielsen Chapman.

This is a wonderful album, but keep in mind that there is no new material here.

Alan Jackson - Small Town Southern Man (Single)

The first single from Alan Jackson’s upcoming album “Good Time” was released for sale today. The song is called “Small Town Southern Man”. It reminded me a lot of the recently popular “International Harvester” by Craig Morgan. Enjoy!

Ever wonder what the guy is thinking who drives his tractor down the road at 10 miles an hour, blocking you and everyone behind you? Craig Morgan’s newly released “International Harvester” song and video are the answer. Whether or not you are satisfied with Morgan’s response is another issue, but in the meantime, the song is a fun, livin-life-my-way track worth listening to and downloading. Blake Shelton - Pure BS

Well, it’ll be my birthday soon, so I thought I’d post a good ol’ honky tonk drinkin’ song. The More I Drink is a new one from Blake Shelton’s album Pure BS. See if it does anything for you. I’ve read quite a few good reviews of this album, so if you don’t mind a little country in your digital library, it is worth checking out.
