Sia - Some People Have REAL Problems
January 8, 2008
Sia’s new album “Some People Have REAL Problems” is her third solo effort. She has also worked extensively with ZERO 7; She provided the vocals for the hit singles “Destiny” and “Distractions” from their debut album “Simple Things”, as well as tracks on their subsequent albums, “When It Falls and Garden”. “Breathe Me”, from Sia’s album Colour the “Small One”, gained significant attention when it was used in the elaborate final scene of HBO’s hit series Six Feet Under.
Daft Punk - Alive 2007
November 20, 2007
In the wake of their 2007 international tour, Daft Punk releases “Alive 2007″, a live recording of their performance in Paris. I can honestly say that, despite rarely finding time these days to listen to techo-style music, listening to this album was a thrilling experience. From what I’ve read, actually being at one of their concerts was downright incredible. In any case, for those of us who probably wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves at a Daft Punk performance, we do have this sensational release. Close your eyes and get ready for the quintessential house/electronica mind journey.
