Missy Elliott - Ching-A-Ling (Single)

Missy Elliott’s back with a new single called “Ching-A-Ling”. It is featured on the soundtrack to the new movie “Step Up 2: The Streets”, which will be released on February 5th (the movie comes out on the 14th). It will also be on her forthcoming album, which has no official release date yet. The single is available in digital form only. Don’t miss the trailer for the movie at the bottom of the post!

Styles P - Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman)

Styles P’s latest release “Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman)” is the Hot Shot Debut on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums this week. The first single, “Blow Your Mind”, is one of the highlights on the album. Styles P is a former member of The LOX, a group that was once signed with P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records.

Beanie Sigel - The Solution

Beanie Sigel’s “The Solution” is his first album to be released since he served a year in prison and was shot in an attempted robbery. In an MTV News Interview he states, “Im a soulful brother, I been through a lot, I’m just giving you my life.”

Wu-Tang Clan - The 8 Diagrams

Wu-Tang returns with “8 Diagrams”, their first studio release since the death of Dirty Ol Bastard. The group members include GZA, RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killa, Raekwon, U-God, Inspecta Deck and Masta Killa. “The Heart Gently Weeps” features Erykah Badu and is the first song to feature a Beatles sample (see the video at the end of the post). If you purchase the CD, you also get a bonus DVD.
